使ってみると結構便利 - ports-mgmt/portless

新しく出来たports-mgmtカテゴリの中で、使えそうなのを探してみると、portlessを見付ける。

どんな事が出来るのか

★ファイルの表示

PortsのMakefileやpkg-descr等をlessで表示する事が出来る。

portless [オプション] Ports名
オプション：
    -d pkg-descrファイルを表示（デフォルト）
    -i distinfoファイルを表示
    -M Makefileファイルを表示
    -m pkg-messageファイルを表示
    -p pkg-plistファイルを表示

例えば、www/firefoxのMakefileが読みたい時は、下記の通りにする。

$ portless -M firefox

★ディレクトリの表示

「-w」オプションで、Portsがどこにあるのか表示する事も出来る。

$ portless -w firefox
/usr/ports/www/firefox

「カテゴリ/Ports名」で表示するには「-W」オプションを使う。

$ portless -W firefox
www/firefox

manページのEXAMPLESを見れば分かるが、ワイルドカードも使える。
この場合、クォーテーションで囲むか、直前にバックスラッシュを入れる。

$ portless -W "*firefox*"
german/bsdforen-firefox-searchplugin
japanese/firefox-ja
www/bugmenot-firefox
www/firefox-i18n
www/firefox-remote
www/firefox
www/firefox15
www/linux-firefox-devel
